Learning to Build

Students have started to come back to JVE makerspace this year.  During the first few weeks, the lower grades spend time experimenting

with various building options using plastic straws, giant blocks, car track and more. THe upper grades are refeshing their google skills by completing a scavenger hunt about Google Slides while using Google Slides.  They must perform several tasks in Slides and have to find the commands to complete said tasks. It’s a creative endeavor while honing their skillset.
